Our Product Design services

People judge an app in the first thirty seconds, usually before they've understood what it does. We design apps that feel obvious to use — native patterns where they matter, a clear path to the thing your users came for, and enough polish that they stick around past the first session.
Your website is usually the first real impression someone has of you. We'll help you say what you do in the first screen, give people a clear next step, and build it on a system your team can keep extending long after we've handed it over.

Mobile App Design

People judge an app in the first thirty seconds, usually before they've understood what it does. We design apps that feel obvious to use — native patterns where they matter, a clear path to the thing your users came for, and enough polish that they stick around past the first session.
Website Design

Your website is usually the first real impression someone has of you. We'll help you say what you do in the first screen, give people a clear next step, and build it on a system your team can keep extending long after we've handed it over.
Dashboards and Data Visualisation

Dashboards get hard when everything feels important. We start with what your users are actually trying to decide, then design around that — complex data made readable at a glance, and structured so it holds up as you keep adding features.
Design for AI

AI products don't have settled patterns yet, and that makes them genuinely hard to design. AI product design is mostly about making the model legible — helping people see what the system is doing, where it's uncertain, and how they stay in control.
Design System

Somewhere around the fortieth screen, consistency stops happening by itself. We build design systems your team can actually use — tokens, components, states, and documentation your developers won't have to interpret.
MVP Design and Rapid Prototyping
When there's a runway and a board meeting, scope is everything. We'll help you decide what proves the idea and what can wait, then get a working prototype into your hands in weeks — ready to test with real users or take into a room.

Design Process
Discover
Discovery isn't a formality for us. Before we design a single screen, we spend real time understanding your users, your business constraints, and the core problem, because we know that the best product design process starts here, and shortcuts always show up later.
- User research
- Stakeholder workshops
- PProduct strategy
Define
Once we know what we're solving for, we map out the structure: user journeys, information architecture, and clear product requirements. This is the work that stops expensive mistakes from happening downstream, and it's where most design projects go wrong when they skip it.
- Information architecture
- User flows
Design
Wireframes first, then interface. We design the real screens — not just the happy path, but the empty states, the error cases, and what a new user sees on day one. Everything sits on a design system from the start, so the tenth screen takes a fraction of the time the first one did, and your team can build the eleventh without us.
- Wireframes
- UI design
- Design systems
Build and Handoff
We don't disappear at handoff. Your developers get specs, components, and a design system they can actually read — not a Figma link and good luck. We stay on through the build, review what's been implemented against what was approved, and fix the gaps before they ship. Most agencies call the project done when the files are delivered. We call it done when the product matches the design in production.
- Developer gandoff
- Design QA
- Launch support

Why Teams Choose
Red Baton for Product Design

Let’s build something
great together
We design digital products end to end — mobile apps, web apps, SaaS platforms, and marketing websites. That covers user research, product strategy, UX and UI design, prototyping, design systems, and usability testing. We're also a product design and development company, so if you'd rather one team carried it through to a working build, we can do that too. Some clients come to us for a full product from scratch; others bring an existing product that's outgrown its original design.
Honestly, a lot of good product design companies could do strong work for you. What we'd point to is this: we're around 30 people, so you work directly with the people designing your product rather than through an account layer. We're split between Bangalore and San Francisco, which gives you real overlap with both US and Asian working hours. And because we also build our own SaaS product, UXMagic.ai, we tend to think about your product the way an owner would rather than a vendor. Talk to a few product design firms before you decide — the fit matters more than the portfolio. → product design companies — 1,000 vol / KD 24; product design firms — 590 vol / KD 31
It depends on scope, but we'll give you a real number early rather than a range that means nothing. After a discovery call and a look at what you're building, we'll put together a proposal with a phase breakdown, timeline, and cost. We work on fixed-scope projects, monthly retainers, and dedicated-team engagements — we'll suggest whichever actually suits your situation. If your budget is tight, tell us; we'd rather help you scope to it than quote something you can't act on.
A rapid prototype or MVP is usually a few weeks. A full product design engagement — research through developer handoff — typically runs a couple of months, depending on how many surfaces there are and how quickly decisions can get made on your side. We'll map out the phases before we start so you know what to expect and when you'll see work.
Yes, and a good part of our work is early-stage. Startups usually need a different kind of product design service — faster, more scoped, focused on getting something testable in front of users or investors rather than designing every edge case up front. We'll be direct with you about what's worth designing now and what can wait. → product design service — 170 vol / KD 37
Yes. We have web and app developers in-house, so you can take the design into your own team or have us carry it through to launch. Either way, we don't hand over a file and vanish — your developers get documented components, specs, and design QA until what's built matches what was approved.
We're set up for it. With teams in Bangalore and San Francisco, most US clients get meaningful overlap during their working day, and European clients get a comfortable morning window. In practice we run async by default — you'll get regular written updates and shared work in progress, so nothing waits on a call.
